Our story began with a clear vision: to redefine what's possible and deliver real value. From humble beginnings, we've grown into a leader in our field, driven by our team's passion, ingenuity, and collaborative spirit. We're constantly evolving, committed to innovation, and focused on making a lasting, positive impact for our customers and communities.
Our clinic has proudly served the Tasman Paper Mill in Kawerau since the 1950s. We're honored to continue this legacy, supporting generations of dedicated workers, some with over five decades of service. We provide comprehensive care for all in our rural workplaces, driven by a commitment to improve health and ensure everyone returns home safely each day.
Raised on her grandmother's farm in Moerewa, Northland, Dr. Sarah Gardiner pursued her medical education at Auckland University. A qualified physician, she expertly leads Industry Med while raising three tamariki. Her passion for the innovative workplace clinic model comes from the deep satisfaction of knowing her patients return home safe each day.
Paora Gardiner is the guiding force (kaihautū) behind IndustryMed and Industry care. Raised by his whanau in Tauranga, he draws on deep community roots and cultural values that shape his approach to business and leadership. His education from Tauranga Boys' College and Waikato University provided a solid foundation, while his extensive experience across the social sector, health, and safety brings practical depth to his work.
We genuinely care for our customers and community, supporting their well-being with excellent service.
Honesty and transparency guide everything we do, ensuring we always act with our values in mind.
We believe in constant growth, seeing every experience as a chance to learn and improve.
We value every individual's unique contributions, fostering an environment where everyone feels appreciated and dignified.
